Lupus Awarness Month
We never know how we will feel whenever we do rise
Will we have a respite day or a day that we despise?
Shall we be free of all our pain, our aches our worries too?
Or do we suffer once again just like we always do?
There is no way we can tell you all, just how we really feel
We all have similar symptoms with which we have to deal
We do our best to carry on, to fight it all the time
Though at times it proves too much for us and so we draw the line
Tablets, creams and mixtures too, we take them all in succession
Whilst the stress and strain of endless fight drives us into depression
One day hopefully there will be a time when they will find a cure
But until then we carry on with bodies in pain and sore
One may just what is this, which we all talk about?
Shall we tell them in whisper or shall we simply shout?
It’s certainly not contagious so do not start a fuss
But please open your hearts and spare a thought for those who have LUPUS
